This album began with a handful of original songs and a whirlwind trip to Kansas City's West Bottoms. Primarily recorded during a 10 day stint at the beginning of 2016 in the (then) abandoned Oliver Building, Stephen Sesso, Sean Logan and I set out to self-record and release an album.  Due to the natural sounds of the room, the songs began to transform into something much bigger than the original incarnation. We ran a snake down the central cargo slide and housed amps on the 2nd and 3rd floor while we spent most of our time tracking as a three piece on the 4th floor.

On the way home we decided that this was no longer a singer/songwriter project — it was now a band. And thanks to the excellent photo work of Colby Lysne, we had content, a video, and a band ready to launch.

We settled on a name and launched our site the same week as recording the album. For the next few months we consolidated the record and added various instruments played by our friends.

We'd like to thank everyone for sticking with us through this process, and in particular the following: Our parents, Mike Green and Aaron MC with Studio C, Anna Cole and all of those involved with The Oliver Building,  those who played on the record (to the left), our roommates, and our friends who put up with our excitement and parallel frustration.

We sincerely hope you enjoy the album.
